Introducing Video and Audio Lessons
We are excited to announce a powerful new feature in Konstantly: Video and Audio Lessons. This addition allows you to enhance your courses by integrating video with subtitles, narrating your slides with audio, and offering high-resolution slide decks alongside your recorded lectures.
Why This Matters
Every learner absorbs information differently. Visual learners thrive on schemes and graphics, while auditory learners excel with textual and audio content. Some learners may find it challenging to listen to audio or distinguish small images and need alternative methods to access the material. Our new feature aims to make learning more inclusive and effective for everyone.
How to Create Video Lectures in Konstantly
Step 1: Open or Create a Course
Begin by opening an existing course or creating a new one where you’d like to add a video lecture.
Step 2: Add a Lesson Element
Drag and drop the "Lesson" course element into the Course Builder. This is where you’ll create your video lecture.
Step 3: Use Existing Content
You can use your existing PowerPoint (pptx) or PDF content to create the video lecture.
Step 4: Edit the Lesson
Double-click the lesson you created to edit it. Use the "Video" button on the toolbar to add audio or video tracks and synchronize them with the lesson playback.
Step 5: Upload Your File
Choose a video or audio file from your hard drive or use the YouTube search function. The supported formats include MPEG, MP4, WEBM, MP3, OGG, and AAC, with a file size limit of 4GB.
Step 6: Synchronize Content
Once the file is uploaded, use the timeline at the bottom of the screen to synchronize your visual content with the narration. You can scale the timeline, drag and drop page icons to set the exact display time, and preview your lecture to ensure everything is perfectly aligned.
Step 7: Customize Playback Settings
Set the position and size of the video/audio frame for each page. Use the settings to enable autoplay and allow learners to rewind or fast-forward the content.
Learner Experience
With the autoplay function enabled, learners can enjoy seamless playback and automatic page-turning. If fast-forwarding is allowed, learners can navigate directly to the pages they are most interested in. If pages are skipped, the lecture resumes from the time pinned to the selected page.
