Konstantly is now on Zapier — automate your stack
Konstantly is now on Zapier. Connect your LMS to 8,500+ apps to automate provisioning, course assignments, and completion notifications, no code required.
When we launched Konstantly 2.0 in beta, we shipped webhooks and an open API on day one. The goal was simple: anything you could do in the UI, you could do programmatically.
But "API access" only helps the people who can write code. Everyone else still has to file a ticket with their dev team or wait for a custom integration that may never come.
Today we're closing that gap. Konstantly is now officially on Zapier, in public beta, with five triggers and five actions covering the workflows people ask us about most. Full reference docs are live at docs.konstantly.com.
The Zapier and Make integrations are available on the Enterprise plan. If you're on Free or Business and want this, get in touch about upgrading.
Why Zapier
We could have built a hundred individual integrations. Instead we shipped the one integration that gives you all of them.
Zapier connects to over 8,500 apps — HR systems like BambooHR and Workday, CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot, communication tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams, spreadsheets, databases, AI tools, and almost every SaaS product your team already uses. With Konstantly on Zapier, every one of those becomes a potential trigger or destination for your learning workflows. See the full list of platform integrations for other ways to connect Konstantly to your stack.
And you don't need to write any code.
What you can automate
The integration ships with five triggers and five actions. Here's how they map to real workflows our customers have been asking for.
Onboarding new employees
The most common request we hear from operations teams: "When a new hire joins our HR system, can we automatically create their Konstantly account and assign their onboarding courses?"
Yes. And now you can do it in three steps:
New employee in BambooHR
→ Create User in Konstantly
→ Add User to "New Hires" group
→ Assign Onboarding Course Bundle
The user lands in their inbox with their first courses already waiting. No admin handoff. No manual provisioning. No spreadsheet of pending users.
Completion notifications
When someone finishes a critical training module, the right people should know about it. Compliance officers, managers, the sales lead waiting on a certification — whoever it is, Zapier makes routing the notification trivial:
Course Completed in Konstantly
→ Post to #training-completions in Slack
→ Add a row to a Google Sheet
→ Update lead status in HubSpot
You can fan out to as many destinations as you want from a single completion event. The trigger includes the course name, learner details, completion timestamp, and final score, so you have everything you need to route it.
Cross-system user sync
If your source of truth for users lives somewhere else — Active Directory, your HR platform, an internal tool — you can keep Konstantly in sync without writing custom integration code:
User added to Sales group in your directory
→ Update User in Konstantly
→ Add User to "Sales" group in Konstantly
→ Assign Sales Enablement courses
Group changes flow through. Custom attributes flow through. The whole pipeline runs automatically.
Triggers
Five triggers cover the events most people want to react to (full reference):
| Trigger | Fires when | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| New Course Published | A course goes live | Announcing new training to relevant audiences |
| Course Assigned | A course is assigned to a user or group | Personalized welcome emails or onboarding sequences |
| Course Completed | A learner finishes a course | Routing scores and completion timestamps downstream |
| New User Created | A new user is added to Konstantly | Onboarding flows and CRM updates |
| User Added to Group | Group membership changes | Permission and access workflows |
Actions
Five actions cover the things you'd want to do to Konstantly from any other system (full reference):
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create User | Provision a new user with name, email, role, language, timezone, and any custom attributes |
| Update User | Modify an existing user's information, including custom attributes |
| Create Group | Create a new group with optional parent group, description, and custom attributes |
| Add User to Group | Add an existing user to an existing group |
| Assign Course | Assign a course to one or more users, one or more groups, with an optional deadline |
Custom attributes work everywhere they're available in the Konstantly API — single-line text, multi-line text, numbers, dates, booleans, and single or multi-select dropdowns. Any custom field you've configured in your workspace is available in your Zaps without extra setup. See the custom attributes reference for the supported types and mapping rules.
Getting started
This integration is part of the Enterprise plan. Once your workspace is on Enterprise, setup takes about a minute:
- Open the Konstantly app on Zapier
- Click Connect and provide your API key (find it in Settings → API in your Konstantly workspace)
- Pick a trigger or action and start building your first Zap
If you'd rather start from a template, Zapier has a few prebuilt Zaps for common Konstantly workflows. Pick one, swap in your own connections, and you're live.
What's next
This is the public beta release. Five triggers, five actions, custom attribute support, real-time sync. It covers the workflows we've heard about most often, but it's the start, not the finish. If you missed it, read more about what shipped in Konstantly 2.0, including the webhooks and API this integration builds on.
We're already working on the next set of triggers and actions — enrollment changes, group updates, and more. If there's a workflow you wish we supported, let us know.
Konstantly works best when it's connected to the rest of your stack. With Zapier, "the rest of your stack" now means 8,500+ apps. See the full plan breakdown, including what's included with Enterprise, on our pricing page.
