Sell your online courses on Shopify with Konstantly
The Konstantly Shopify connector turns your courses into Shopify products with auto-enrollment at checkout — full e-commerce toolkit, no manual provisioning.
If you already run a Shopify store, the answer to "how do I sell my courses?" shouldn't be "set up a separate platform and try to keep two systems in sync." It should be: list the course as a product, take the order, let the customer start learning.
That's what the Konstantly Shopify connector does. It removes every step between a buyer clicking checkout and a learner watching their first lesson — and it's available in private beta to anyone who asks.
Why Shopify
Shopify powers millions of stores, and if you're already on it, you've already done the hard work — you have a checkout, payment methods, customer accounts, discount codes, abandoned-cart emails, and analytics. Sending course buyers to a separate LMS landing page is a step backward.
With the connector installed, your Konstantly courses become Shopify products in your existing catalog. The same checkout. The same cart. The same currencies. The same customer experience.
What it actually does
Three things, all of them automatic.
1. Courses become products
Open the connector inside your Shopify admin, pick the courses you want to sell, and they appear in your Shopify catalog as products — title, description, featured image, and price all pulled from Konstantly. You can use each course's own price, or set a fixed default for all imported courses (handy if you want a single "all-access" tier).
You can keep importing manually, or flip on Import all courses automatically so every newly published course in Konstantly shows up as a Shopify product.
2. Buyers check out like any other Shopify customer
The buyer browses, adds the course to their cart, and checks out — same flow as a t-shirt or a coffee subscription. They never know there's a second platform behind the scenes.
This means course buyers benefit from everything Shopify already does: discount codes, bundles, abandoned-cart recovery, multi-currency, regional payment methods, Shop Pay, the works.
3. Enrollment is instant and zero-touch
The moment payment clears in Shopify, the connector hands off to Konstantly:
- Existing user? The course is added to their account immediately and they get a confirmation email.
- New customer? They get an invitation email with a signup link and the course pre-assigned. When they sign up, the course is waiting.
No manual provisioning, no CSV uploads, no support tickets asking "where's my course?".
How to get connected
The integration is currently available by request. Here's the flow:
- Contact us — we'll confirm your Shopify store and Konstantly workspace, then send you a one-time install link
- Install the app in your Shopify admin (standard Shopify install flow)
- Connect to Konstantly by entering your workspace URL and API key (found under Settings → API)
- Import your courses and start selling
Setup typically takes about 10 minutes from clicking the install link to making your first test purchase. The full step-by-step is in our Sell Courses on Shopify guide.
Pricing flexibility
Two ways to price courses in Shopify:
- Per-course pricing — set a price on each Konstantly course and the connector pulls it through automatically. Best when courses have different values.
- Fixed price — every imported course costs the same in Shopify, regardless of what's set in Konstantly. Best for membership-style "all access" pricing or for monetizing courses that are otherwise free in your LMS.
You can switch strategies at any time, or mix them by changing the setting between import batches.
Two-way sync
The connector keeps Konstantly and Shopify in step automatically:
- Publish a new course in Konstantly (with Import all on) → a new Shopify product appears for it
- Unpublish a course → its Shopify products are removed (existing customers keep access)
- Update a course image or description → re-sync from the connector with one click
- A new buyer registers via Shopify invite → their pending course mapping links to the new account automatically
What it doesn't do (yet)
Being honest about the current state of the integration:
- No course progress sync back to Shopify — Shopify doesn't see whether a buyer actually completed the course they bought. We're considering adding this for completion-driven workflows.
- No SSO between Shopify and Konstantly — buyers sign in to each platform separately for now.
- No subscriptions — only one-time purchases. If you need recurring billing on individual courses, Stripe direct is the better fit (also free, also commission-free).
Konstantly takes no commission
To say it plainly: the full Shopify payment goes from Shopify to your bank account. Shopify takes its standard processing fee, and that's it. Konstantly only charges your platform subscription — selling courses through Shopify is included in every plan with API access.
Ready to start selling?
If you already have courses in Konstantly and a Shopify store, the integration takes about 10 minutes to set up and starts paying for itself the moment you make your first sale.
Contact us to request your install link — we'll get you connected the same day.
