Use the AI chat assistant to create courses, generate questions, get help, and navigate your platform

Ask Konstantly is your AI-powered assistant available across the entire platform. It helps you create content, answer questions about features, and navigate to any page — all from a single chat interface.

Accessing Ask Konstantly

Ask Konstantly is available in two places:

  1. Home page — the main chat interface at /. Type your request in the composer at the bottom of the page.
  2. Editor panels — click the Ask button in the sidebar of any editor (Pathboard, Test, Survey, or Slide editor) to open the chat panel.

What Can Ask Konstantly Do?

Create Courses

Describe what you want and the AI builds the entire course structure:

Example prompts:

  • "Create a course about workplace safety for new employees"
  • "Build an onboarding program with quizzes after each module"
  • "Design a sales training course with 8 modules"

The AI will ask you a few guided questions (audience, size, assessments, content depth) and then generate:

  • Course structure with pages, lessons, tests, and surveys
  • Visual pathboard with connections between elements
  • Slide content for each page (title, key points, summary)

Generate Test Questions

Create quizzes and exams with various question types:

  • Single choice — one correct answer
  • Multiple choice — multiple correct answers
  • Yes/No — true/false questions
  • Short text — typed answer
  • Text gap — fill-in-the-blank
  • Matching — pair related items
  • Ordering — arrange items in sequence

Example prompts:

  • "10 multiple choice questions about data privacy"
  • "Create a challenging exam on JavaScript fundamentals"
  • "Generate a mix of question types about leadership skills"

Generate Surveys

Create feedback forms and assessments without right/wrong answers:

  • Choice — select from options
  • Yes/No — simple agreement
  • Sort — rank items
  • Essay — free-form text response
  • Matrix — rate multiple items on a scale

  • "Course feedback survey with 10 questions"
  • "Employee satisfaction questionnaire"

Get Help & Learn Features

Ask how anything works and get instant answers with links to detailed guides:

Example questions:

  • "How do I publish a course?"
  • "What is the Pathboard?"
  • "How do I invite users?"
  • "What question types are supported?"
  • "How do I track learner progress?"

The assistant draws from the complete knowledge base and provides relevant answers with links to full documentation.

Ask to go anywhere and the assistant shows a description with a clickable link:

Examples:

  • "Show my courses" → link to Courses page
  • "Analytics" → link to Statistics page
  • "Settings" → link to Settings page
  • "Billing" → link to Billing settings

Perform Actions

The assistant can help with common tasks by pre-filling forms:

  • "Invite [email protected] and [email protected]" → opens Invitations page with emails pre-filled
  • "Create a new group called Marketing" → opens group creation with name pre-filled
  • "Export statistics" → links to Analytics with export options

Guided Question Flow

For complex tasks like course creation, the assistant asks step-by-step questions using clickable chips:

  1. Who is this course for? — New employees, Team members, Managers, Students, General audience
  2. How comprehensive? — Quick (3-5 modules), Standard (6-10), Comprehensive (10+)
  3. Include assessments? — Quiz after each module, Final exam only, None
  4. Generate page content? — Full content, Structure only

After answering, the AI generates everything and shows a summary with an "Apply" button.

Multi-Turn Conversations

The AI remembers what you said within a conversation:

  • "Create a course about sales training" → generates course
  • "Add a final exam" → understands it's for the sales course
  • "Make the questions harder" → refines the existing questions

Chat Memory

The AI recalls past conversations across sessions:

  • You created a "Sales Training" course yesterday
  • Today you ask "make another course like the sales one" → the AI remembers and uses the same structure
  • "Continue what I was working on" → finds your most recent relevant conversation

Content from URL

Paste a URL and the AI extracts the page content to use as course material:

  • "Create a course from https://example.com/safety-guide"
  • The AI fetches the page, extracts text, and generates course content based on it

Chat History

All conversations are saved and accessible:

  • Sidebar — recent chats appear under "Chats" in the sidebar. Click to restore the full conversation.
  • Home page — "Recent chats" section shows past conversations. Click to reload.
  • History popover — click the clock icon in the chat header to browse and delete past conversations.
  • Export — click the download icon to save a conversation as a markdown file.

Slide Content Generation

When the AI creates a course with pages, it generates slide content automatically:

  • Title — clear page heading
  • Subtitle — learning objective
  • Key points — 3-6 bullet points covering the topic
  • Summary — closing paragraph

If you open a page in the Slide Editor after AI creation, the chat panel auto-opens with a "Generate content" banner for one-click rich content generation.

Tips for Better Results

  1. Be specific — "Create a 6-module course about data privacy for new employees" works better than "Create a course"
  2. Include context — mention target audience, difficulty level, and learning objectives
  3. Use follow-ups — refine results with "make it shorter", "add more questions", "change the topic"
  4. Try URLs — paste a reference article URL for content-aware generation
  5. Ask for help — if unsure about a feature, just ask "how does X work?"

Feedback

You can provide feedback on any AI response:

  • Thumbs up — the response was helpful
  • Thumbs down — the response wasn't useful

This helps improve the AI over time. You can also report issues using the bug icon in the chat header.

Limitations

  • The AI generates content as a starting point — always review and customize
  • Complex branching scenarios may need manual adjustment in the Pathboard
  • Image generation is available in the Slide Editor but not in the chat directly
  • The AI works best with English prompts
